Professional Goals and Dispositions
(ATTITUDES AND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT/DISPOSITIONS) (PROFESSIONALISM Standard 12 & 13; Dispositions 5, 6, 7, & 8)
The Curriculum & Instruction Master's degree program specialty in Educational Computing, Design, and Online Learning at K-State helped me become a better Educator and Technology Specialist. I plan on continuing my career in the fields of education and technology and will continue to participate in virtual education along with online learning environments.
I will apply instructional design principles, learning theories, learning models and research methods in education when I design curriculum and instruction. I will teach digital citizen skills to students and teachers. In addition, I have acquired leading technology skills in education curriculum and instruction which involves virtual teaching, social networking, blogging and how these technologies are integrated into a classroom or training curriculum and instruction. This program helped me create my Personal Learning Network on the world-wide-web which is in a global environment and includes social networking with professionals and integrating technology into education curriculum and instruction. |
